Website case studies

We publish real builds only — with the client's permission, and anonymised where they ask. This page shows the one build we can display end to end, our own site with its real Search Console numbers, and explains how every case study here is put together.

Every case study on this site is a real build, published with the client's permission and anonymised on request.

The build we show end to end: this site

creativewebsitedesign.co.za is built on the same fixed-price packages we sell — static pages, no page-builder bloat, one page per topic. It went live on 29 July 2026 with the core network published in one launch.

MeasureResultWhen
Pages indexed31 of 31within 19 days of launch
Lifetime impressions6,616first 19 days
Impression growthroughly doubling every two weeksW1 1,787 → W2 3,059
Packages page1,817 impressionsfirst 19 days

The numbers are small because the site is young — that is the honest part of this case study. What they show is the shape the framework predicts: everything indexed, the quality node carrying the most demand, and growth compounding rather than flat. All figures are from Google Search Console, as of mid-August 2026.

How a case study here is put together

Three rules, and they are not marketing. First, the client approves what is published — a case study goes up with permission, or not at all. Second, anonymisation is the default where a client asks: the sector, the city and the outcome stay real, the name comes off. Third, nothing on this site has ever been invented — no fabricated reviews, testimonials or clients. A fake portfolio is obvious to visitors more often than people think, and it is against Google's guidelines.

What to check in anyone's portfolio

Whether you are looking at ours or a competitor's, the same four checks separate a real portfolio from a decorated one:

  • Can you find the client? A named business should exist, and the site shown should be live at the address given.
  • Are the outcomes measurable? Enquiries, rankings, revenue — numbers — rather than adjectives like 'stunning results'.
  • Are the dates real? A portfolio that never changes, or that claims results for sites that are not live, is a gallery rather than a track record.
  • Does the work shown match the work sold? A designer showing only enterprise builds while selling small-business packages is showing you someone else's output.

Every build on this page ships on the same fixed packages. Real case studies come from real work — yours can be the next one. See the website design packages.

Common questions

Why don't you list client names?

Because most small-business clients prefer it that way — an anonymised case is the default where a client asks, and named cases appear where the client approves them. Either way, the underlying facts stay real.

Is your own site a case study?

Yes — and it is the honest kind: built on the same fixed packages we sell, with the numbers above taken from Search Console rather than invented.

How do you measure whether a build worked?

Enquiries received, pages indexed, impressions and positions in Search Console, and speed on a real phone. You keep the logins, so the numbers are checkable rather than asserted.

Can I watch my site being built?

Yes — every build happens on a staging link you can watch take shape, which is the best portfolio of all: your own site, observed as it is made. See our web design process.
